Mom Parts KAP comes to NYC

November 12–13, 2026

Two days. One shared intention:

To make space for the parts that motherhood brings forward —

in moms and in the people who support them.

Meet Your Facilitators + Hosts

Jessica is a maternal mental health expert, speaker, educator, author of When Good Moms Feel Bad, and creator of the Mom Parts Method.

Meredith is a certified psychedelic assisted therapist, brainspotting consultant, and clinician educator; specializing in trauma-informed and experiential clinician education.

Jessica and Meredith co-created Mom Parts KAP to bring a trauma-informed, non-pathologizing approach to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for mothers.

Gabrielle is a Mothercentered trained clinician who specializes in perinatal mental health. She will be helping hold the experiential space on Friday with warmth, presence, and care.

Ilana has been a local anchor for Mom Parts KAP; helping connect the people, places, and relationships that make this in-person gathering possible.

Thursday, November 12

9:30am–2:30pm ET

The Mom Parts Method in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

For Clinicians + Practitioners

Who Support Moms

West Village, New York City
Exact location will be provided upon registration.

  • Learn the Mom Parts Method — explore the framework and how the method helps make sense of the complex and often polarized experience of motherhood.

  • Translate the framework into clinical practice — explore how the Mom Parts Method can inform KAP preparation, dosing sessions, integration, and your clinical work with mothers.

  • Experience a Mom Parts Salon for yourself — move out of clinician/learner mode and into a guided, medicine-free experiential process so you can feel what the work is like from the participant side.

  • Learn directly from Jessica Tomich Sorci, creator of the Mom Parts Method and coauthor of When Good Moms Feel Bad, alongside Meredith Futernick-Gerak’s KAP and experiential clinical lens.

  • Space for reflection, conversation, and connection with other clinicians and practitioners who are passionate about finding a better way to support mothers.

  • Share lunch together with room to slow down, connect, and let the learning settle rather than rushing from one presentation to the next.

  • Leave with a framework you can actually use — not just more information, but a clearer way of recognizing and responding to the parts that show up in motherhood.

Friday, November 13

10:00am–2:00pm ET

CLM Collective
786 Lexington Ave, Floor 2
New York, NY 10065

This day is for Moms.

  • Move through a guided small-group process from 10:00am–12:30pm ET with space for reflection, curiosity, rest, and whatever your system needs.

  • Participate with or without low-dose ketamine — medicine is completely optional, and the experiential work is designed to be meaningful either way.

  • Let ketamine add spaciousness, not pressure — for those who choose it, the intention is to create a little more space from urgency, self-criticism, and the usual mental noise.

  • Nourishing lunch and integration from 12:30–2:00pm ET so there is time to land, connect, reflect, and begin making meaning of what surfaced.

  • Be held in a small, supported setting where all of your Mom Parts are welcome.

  • Come as you are — no prior experience with Mom Parts, IFS, or KAP is needed.

Also included with your registration:

  • 90 minute virtual preparation session Monday 11/9 from 11am-12:30pm ET

    • This preparation session helps create the container before we meet in person. We’ll talk through what to expect on Friday, make space for questions, and help you begin noticing what parts, intentions, hopes, or concerns may already be present.

  • 90 minute virtual integration session Monday 11/16 from 11am-12:30pm ET

    • The integration session happens after the in-person gathering and offers space to reflect on what surfaced, what felt meaningful, and what may still be unfolding.

Planning to participate with ketamine?

Optional low-dose ketamine participation requires medical screening and clearance with our prescribing partner, Dr. Leyam Kewson, MD.

After registration, you’ll receive instructions for connecting with the prescriber and completing the necessary steps. Participation without medicine is also welcome.

Supporting maternal mental health beyond this gathering:

A portion of net proceeds from this event will be donated to Postpartum Support International (PSI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and access to resources for postpartum support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience with Mom Parts, IFS, or KAP?

No. We’ll orient you to the Mom Parts Method and guide you through the experience step by step.

What happens on Day 1?

Thursday is for clinicians + practitioners. We’ll introduce the Mom Parts Method, explore how it can be applied in KAP preparation, dosing, and integration, and then move into a medicine-free experiential Mom Parts Salon.

What happens on Day 2?

Friday is for moms + clinicians and is more experiential. We’ll slow down, notice which parts are present, and move through a supported Mom Parts process, followed by lunch and integration.

Is ketamine required?

No. Low-dose ketamine is optional on Friday. You can participate fully in the experiential work without medicine.

Are there preparation and integration sessions?

Yes. Friday participants are invited to a virtual preparation session on Monday, November 9 from 11am-12:30pm ET and a virtual integration session on Monday, November 16 from 11:00am–12:30pm ET.

Zoom and calendar links will be included in your registration email, as well as a list of KAP-informed therapists for reference if you'd like ongoing integration support.

Are prescriber services included?

No. For participants choosing ketamine, prescriber evaluation and medical services are separate from event registration and paid directly to the prescriber. Please indicate on your intake form if you would like to be connected with our local prescriber, Leyam Kewson, MD.

Can I attend only one day?

Yes. Thursday can be registered for separately by clinicians + practitioners here, and Friday can be registered for separately by moms + clinicians here. The two-day option is offered at a slightly reduced rate.

Why are there different pricing tiers?

We’re offering tiered pricing because we want the experience to be accessible to folks with different financial circumstances without creating different levels of participation.

Every tier includes the same full experience. The lower rate is there for those who need more financial flexibility, the standard rate reflects the usual cost of participation, and the higher rate gives people with greater capacity a way to help support broader access.

There’s no application or explanation required—just choose the rate that feels most sustainable for you right now.
